I want to quad divide some faces on my model. I've been able to do it before, but it won't do it now.

Assuming you are in point edit mode on the mesh (right click it to enter PE mode), then selecting some faces and hitting the Quad Divide icon.....


Check to see if the object is on a locked layer, or maybe on a different layer to the one you have selected.

It may also depend on the face itself - if it has 36 different vertices defining it, then tS may have a problem dividing it up (not tested to be sure, but it could be an issue). Also if the face has vertices that are not coplanar, then tS might also be unable to divide it up.


Let us know if either of those are true in this case about the face you are trying to divide. Also check the tool on a simple cube, see if it is still working on other faces and other objects.

I think it might be because I used 'try to fix bad geometry' on it, causing it to become a 'not solid' object.
