I am new to the whole 3d animation process and would like to know if there are any websites that I can use to learn more about truespace. I have the free download of truespace 3 as I thought it would be a good place to start.

Please help folks as I would love to take the step into 3d.

Thanks

Matthew

Matthew,

Welcome aboard!

There are tutorials on Caligari's main board. Check out some of my links here.

I am new to the whole 3d animation process Welcome to ts then and would like to know if there are any websites that I can use to learn more about truespace. The help manuel is more helpful than you'd think:D I have the free download of truespace 3 as I thought it would be a good place to start. It will "be a good place to start" for quite a long time, don't underestimate an old program, you can crank some fairly realistic renders out of ts.

Please help folks as I would love to take the step into 3d.

Thanks

 Matthew, if you can manage to come across $19.99, I would highly recommend taking advantage of this deal:

http://caligari.com/store/special/OpenHouse.html

trueSpace 4.3 is not only a solid version, but has quite a few improvements over 3.2. And you'll get a Caligari coupon valued at .01 more than what you paid in the first place...it's almost like they're paying YOU to try trueSpace 4.3! I enjoyed that release, tremendously!
