Here is a Library Viewer.
Should help with your D3D Material Editor workflow.
* Load the Library Viewer Installer into the Link Editor and select the Install button or the Uninstall button to remove it.
* Select a Library Place and then one of the Libraries in the drop down list.

* Set All adds all of your Library Places into the Library Viewer plus 01 Default which is the default libraries for the Library Viewer.
* Remove All removes all Library Places.
* Set Position saves the position of the Library Viewer where you reposition it
* Default Position restores the default position.
* Right click the Library Browser icon to reactivate the Library Viewer after it has been closed.

Note: Sometimes upon first use you have to use your keyboard Enter key with a Library highlighted but should be automatic after that.
Video is attached showing it in use.
Huge thanks to Clintonman for the additional features noted in Post #2 and Post #5.
I've decided to incorporate this into the Workspace - D3D Material Editor which is much easier to use:

Here's an addition to the script that makes custom library places easier to use. Push the button to initialize the library place list then choose a library place and a library from the drop down lists.

Awesome Clintonman :)
I've modified your version a bit. I have it setup with some default libraries mostly for the Material Editor as that is how I invisioned its use mostly. I've moved your Initiate button which is now Setup All and added a Remove All button to a Setup aspect. |

The default library is gone when you "Set All" so I added it to the custom list as "01 - Default". |

What are the advantages/differences between this and the existing 'Library Browser'? |

Awesome Clintonman! Thank you! :)
The biggest advantage is:
1.) Loading DX Materials into the D3D Material Editor. "Better Workflow"
2.) The Panel snaps to the side of the Stack.
3.) Changing a library does not create another additional panel, where as it updates instead.
4.) If you were to use this as a Library Viewer "Thanks to Clintonman" it is much faster and less cumbersome then the Library Browser. It was originally thought out as workflow improvement for the D3D Material Editor. It is different and not a replacement for the Library Browser. |

Cool thanks again!
Is there a way to make a button that deletes the selected item in the list?
I was thinking, if it was possible to issolate the 01 Deafult list and or incorporate it into the Remove All button or a Check Box. No biggie on this one as you could just reinstall. Hummm I think I just answered my own question but then again I would not learn how to do the right way.
I am going to implement a Save Position command for the Library Viewer frame. I notice it can become hidden. These Panels are very odd in the way they work and not work. |

Many thanks :)
* Load the Library Viewer Installer into the Link Editor and select the Install button or the Uninstall button to remove it.
Rises the question where is the Install button to install this plugin? Not in the Install brick it seems. Can somebody please enlighten me :)
Another note, the dropdown list is currently a bit useless. Too many words starts with Sha. I have no clue what is in this list ... |

Tiles...Tiles...Tiles... You are inside the Library Viewer Installer. You should use the Install button which will install it. The uninstall script is inside the Uninstall button. There is a video showing the installation process and use. :) I have just updated everything again, so watch the video and redownload it. |

Here is a version for you Tiles. After you run the Install button. You will have to exchange your Library Browser button with the one included here:
