The Free and Commercial DX Shaderpacks are now available.

More info here (http://www.parva-project.de/en/dxspack_en.html).

I think the most useful thing in the free pack are the model shaders.

With granted permission from Wordware Publishing, Inc. and a nice price deal for all who download the package.

The commercial package includes the most of the special shaders I used also in my scenes as well as 5 sample scenes.

Both packages have also a simple description video, showing the use of the shader/bricks at one sample.

Any questions can be posted here or send me directly via email.

Both packages contain shaders and bricks that can be extended and only srcratch at the surface of what can be done.

A DX Shadercreation tutorial of how to built own shaders based upon hlsl is in progress

but due to the time and effort it needs I will see the progress of how many users are interested in this.

It will be maybe also 2 kind of tutorial, a simple free and an extended low cost one.

an additional shader is already in the pipeline:

hdri refract&reflect

17097

On this way I want to thank again Wordware Publishing, Inc. for using

and Lumonix for licensing there shader code.

thank you Chris.

Tell me if you have trouble or others questions.

Also to all buyers, keep the license file save.

Future updates, new shaders & scenes will come without any additional charge

and are accessible with your private key.

Very generous parva, thanks.:)

Perhaps you could make the demonstration video for the commercial package available on your site? I think it would potentially get you more sales. Either that or more demo images of the specific shaders in action.

If this was going to happen anyway, please ignore.;)

I would also vote for a PayPal option to purchase.

That might increase sales as well.

Cheers

Two things Mr. Parva.
Thanks for the Shaders! I really need your tutorials for some of these. My real problem is the "Bricks"
Please help the mindless!!! (ME:D)
Second I have added your site to "Steinie's Helpful Links..."!
Your going to be Famous now.;)

p.s I'm saving Money for your other Shaders package(Christmas for the Kids first).

You state that any additional Shaders will be free for the licensed user.
Is that for all additional Shaders you make?

Closer example of the upcoming latlong reflection shader in action.

Like described in the description video the snell refraction brick has currently

no use. Now with this shader it useful now.

Refraction simulation of different media like water, glass and crystals will be possible with it.

Parva, this waves you did with vertex right? It runs faster then my procedural mesh? I dont know if you had compare both.

just another question, what mathematical function did you use for the waves shape?

yes, except the reflection everything is done in vertex shader.

I don't think that there is any speed difference. You would need a special tool to measure but I don't know anything like that for truespace.

Due to the limitation that there is no PS3 support yet, we can't use texture fetching (http://developer.nvidia.com/object/using_vertex_textures.html). At least without the use of the displacement mapper ;)

the function is a combo from cos and sin. Nothing spectacular :)

I will try if I get foam and waves-depth-per-ground-height included.

parva, are you sure no PS3 support? MichaelV said by HLSL PS3 is available. At least that is how I understood it.

If I read this correctly trueSpace supports 3.0 only from HLSL.

Excellent news that these are released!

As a way of advertising your paid shaders, you might want to drop the free ones on TurboSquid. That way folks that dont visit the forums can find those when looking for tS content, and the documentation there can send people to your site for the full commercial version. Will also save this forum post creeping slowly down the list, disappearing to those who are new to the forums or dont check very often, so will miss the news that these are available.

Thanks!

Tom

As a separate thing, or now part of the "pay for" pack?

I just bought mine a few days ago, does that mean now I get those, or do I pay again, how does this work?

Those scenes of yours are truly amazing, wonderful work. I know I'm trying to move to real-time, but that is just wow. :)

as part of the pack.

Like said all future shaders, updates (and maybe video files) are free for customers.

All current customers got a mail with a link to the folder where the additional files can be downloaded.

Tell me if you don't got a mail.
