Here is a FPN Camera Keyframer.
This enables you to automatically record Camera actions while navigating the Camera in FPN mode.

Instructions:
Select the View button.
Select the Activate button.
Enable FP Navigation.
When you are finished recording your actions,
right click to pause FPN and
select the Deactivate button.
Make the AnimClip 5X longer.

Notes:
The Reset button resets the Timer Event's Frame attribute to zero, which is also the Animation Editor's Frame that was last recorded. So it is important to reset it unless you want to start recording at that current Frame. It is also important to understand that this script is unaware of the Animation Editor's current Frame. In other words this script uses the Timer Event's Frame attribute to record Keyframes.
Video recorded in Camtasia is a simple demonstration on it's intended use. The jerkiness in the video is caused by Camtasia and is the reason for creating this script. The animation that is created within tS7.6 is smooth as butter.

I noticed that I did not set the Scrubber properties correctly and so I have updated the file in the original post. My apologies to the six people that downloaded it previously. :o

It is First Person Navigation. 16249
You can use your keyboard keys W,A,S,D to navigate around 3D Space.
I added a video demonstrating it's use.

Hope its added to TurboSquid :) Things are much more findable on there than on a forum, I'm hoping all people sharing content from scripts to layouts to models will post up there so that tS users can start searching for content more easily.

HTH!

This is a great tool trueBlue! Awesome!

Sounds like a good idea Tom on TurboSquid. Is there a tS or Caligari section for folks to easily find files? I guess I should go visit TurboSquid.

There's no real section as such, but you can search by tag or file type or description, so it should be easy to find anything tS related, which is the beauty of it. Can be hard to track down things on forums, as it doesn't feature that kind of search functionality, so older items tend to disappear, look how many people didn't know about the Steinie widget for example http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?p=86553#post86553

Then people only find out if they happen to post about it, and someone happens to recall such a thing existed and where it was. Handy thing with a repository like TurboSquid is you can just browse and see what's there without a particular problem in mind and go "Oh wow, that would be a great thing!" and go grab :)

Thanks!

Tom
