Thats neat, but not quite what I want to do. How do I texture a box with one texture, record a key frame with that texture, and then record a second key frame with a different texture and have it play back in the workspace animation editor?

Ok, now that the initial coolness fgactor has worn off, I spent many hours rendering out texture animations last night to give this little plugin a whirl... :) how do I hook this critter up? :D Sorry about the noobness, I am dying to try this on an animation idea that I have (Halloween is coming, time for some goorish animations)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You apply a texture to your model and then jump down into the material and export the texture to the top level. Connect the script to it and choose an image sequence on disk. Set keyframes on the script's frame number to animate it.

Thanks Clinton... another little tid bit that will help in other situations... still an LE novice even though I may know how to do a couple of things I am always learning... Export now makes sense and I will not have to do some of the things I was doing before... XSI ICE is going to seem like a cake walk after working around in this for another year or 2 :)

Maybe this script can help. Select your object first and then the Apply to Selected object button.
