Added some trim and the porch. I have also included a pic of the house that I a using to model this. Overall not much of the house has changed. I did take some liberites with the roof and some of the trim details to make modeling eaiser. |

That's a weird looking house. It(the photo) actually looks fake to me. I'm also looking forward to seeing your textured house. |

Well my man, it is very real. It was build in 1929. It has been abandoned for along time, since the 60's It think. The owners of the property have just now in the past year started reclaiming the property. Nobody lives in the house full time, but they use it for some special events. |

Ok here is some more detial added. Next is the windows. I also added some place holder textures to give everybody a idea of where I am going. Most of the the textrues are from the house, and they are unedited. I just appiled them. The only ones that are not from the house is the trim detail. That will probably change. |

Coming along nicely rjeff.
One thing that has caught my eye from the start and that is the chimney. The part midway up where it decreases in size should be a little more pronounced. With the textures added it appears to be one size all the way up. I would make the upper half smaller in diameter.
Also are you putting in the windows last? There are no openings. Just wondering about your plan.
Now hook up with MikeJoel, Wizard, and others and you guys will have a village!
Bring in Weevil and the other Car/Jet modelers to model the Train.
Get Frootee, trueBlue and Stan to write some code to control the train and we have a Christmas Train Set! |

Yeah I have alot to do. I was just placing some textures on the house to see how they look. The chimney will be in much worse shape before it is over with. There is also quite a few windows to insert. |

Added the windows, that way Steinie can look out. Next step is to slap on the siding. |

Ok got the siding on there. It is all geometry. Now I have to do the front door, tin the roof and do the rock work. Then distress it more. |

Hi rjeff,
This is looking good!
The HDRI still giving you problems? Other options for outside lighting could be:
- Image Based Light with an infinite light or two, ray shadows, for the sun.
- Use a group of infinite lights, mapped shadows, pointing in different directions and an infinite light or two, ray shadows, for the sun. (This is what my chariot image had.)
Easy enough to make one but here's an array of infinite lights. |

rjeff....how did you get the object to import into Ivy Generator correctly? I am saving something as a .cob from the model side in TS and using 3DWin5 V5.6a to convert it to a .obj which works fine but when I import it into Ivy Generator it is on its side and not standing straight up.
Thanks |

You need to use the LUUV to export it into .obj and use it to import the .obj Here is the kicker you need to uncheck the scale option in LUUV to make it work right. Sorry for the dealy in response. |

A fantastic piece of work rjeff! Not only is it a great model, but you have also managed to get a very fine, natural looking render to boot. Good luck with the votes. |
