Here is my Light Setups Library kit for ts 7.51..
It lets you save all scene lights into one file into the 'Light Setups' Library ..
You can delete all scene lights or add to an existing setup ..
Use 'Load from Library' to load or add lights from library into your scene ..[note you can't load manually from 'Light Setups' library]
Bring the Light Setups installer into a truespace library then load in your scene in the LE, then run it to install. A 'Light Setups' library will be created for you..
There is an uninstall tab too.
To make the ambient light compatible run the install on the 'ambient' tab ..use the 'ambient' tab uninstall button to bring the ambient light back to factory state. [doing this just makes the light readable by the script, otherwise ambient lights are not supported ..]
If desired, thumbnails can be created manually in the library, otherwise there is a stock icon..probably best to use the library in 1+2d mode..

My Light Setup Library Kit isn't working in 7.6. Can anyone tell me if it should be? It is one of my favorite add-ons. |

hadn't tested it in 7.6, thought it would be obsolete with the new lights library. give me a little time to look at it ;) |

it works.:) you need to redirect the directory link to be in 7.6 at the beginning to find the new lights library you can probably use the old 7.5 library too, but the lights in the new lights default library won't load with my tool, but once in the scene you will be able to save them with the tool. hth.;) |

Excellent! That worked - I just copied all the setups from the 7.5 folder to the 7.6 folder. Now the setup sees them.

one cool thing you can do with this tool is have more than one light setup in the same scene .:D |
