here is an installer kit to alter the way the rotate tool works in ortho, it will make the third axis available
first bring the installer in to truespace in one of the usual ways like..drag and drop, import
open the LE to your scene [Space3D] and run the install.thats it ;)
[if you want to uninstall it go to UNinstall tab] |

Thank you Stan, that's brilliant.
Now fancy having a crack at the icon focus issues?...... :)
Such a simple thing but makes such a big difference. Thanks again, it is really appreciated. |

WWW, not exactly sure what you mean..you would have to explain it to me or put a link to the thread you discussed it in :) .

I think WWW is referring to the lack of obvious highlights on selected icons-makes it difficult to see those that are chosen. |

Cool Thanks Stan!
I'll look into how you put this together tonight. Good learning opportunity!

Close Paul but what I meant was tools that aren't selected showing as selected, multiple tools showing as selected and so on and so on. I think it's a bit more underlying than just adding in a function. Though no doubt Stan would have some magic wiggly code up his sleeve somewhere!
It was meant more in an ironic way of "users fixing what the makers have broken". |

I thiught that's what you meant WWW.. (http://www..)
at the moment I haven't figured out why some highlight in a slightly different manner when there only seems to be one place where you change a number that effects the highlight.. it may be hard coded.
personally I would like to remove the grey-black from the icons and make them grey like 7.11 but that is not accessable..I can't really see them very well without rolling over each one to make it visible [that sucks] I yearn for the good ol' days when truespace wasn't sexy just easy to use..;)
one selection highlight issue that bugs me is how move, rotate, or scale stay highlighted when they not active ..having to go and reclick to use it, |

One of my biggest irks with it. Why they can't go 'auto active', ie ready to use, like before is a mystery and yet another unnecessary mouse click but for them to pretend to be so when they're not is just down right cruel! |
