I have a small tutorial in my thread that shows how to make tire treads if you want to try it out: http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=5099 Post by nigec // Dec 2, 2008, 11:43pm nigec Total Posts: 314 Thanks for that Kena :cool: It's spot on for the rear tyre on a bike it's age and size, the front is usually un broken ribs running round which is easy enough with the lathe tool :) heres a pic of a rear Avon SM, they where the cheap option up until the early 80's, really scary on corners because of the square profile but they did lasted for ever lol http://www.britcycle.com/Products/555/tyre_SM_f.jpg The bike is just going to be a made up with elements that are easier to model, plus I'm not going to get hung up on getting the details right and never finishing it edit.. oh c***, i just messed up, I was rushing about, deleted the old tyre and forgot it was grouped with the rim and centre hub and close ts.. i keep forgetting it doesn't ask if you want to save or not, can you get it to prompt?
