here is a player version of my object panel..sorry there are no axis tools..

there are many similar features..
get obj ..to access an object
set obj ..to set an object when using key entries
L R S ..for independent access to an object's location, rotation, or scale..used to transfer data
C ..copies an object
<> .. they are next to each x,y,z box as a way to measure using the values in the boxes at the far left
name ..inputs the object's name

how to install

unrar the file
import the ObjectPanel.RsLibCmp into 'UI' library
bring 'TheObjectPanel installer' into the link editor [3D space]
run installer

to uninstall close the object panel and icon, then run the uninstaller

if there are any problems let me know

Alright Stan the Man is back! Just got a chance to check this out. Great job Stan! How do you use panels? I wonder couldn't you access the OwnerMatrix for axis information? Wonder if you used jScript object instead of jScript command, updates would happen without selecting a button? I ask these questions because I am not sure. Never the less very useful as is. Thanks for sharing.
Also what or how do you use < > for measuring?

thanks trueblue..:D :D

the only acess to the axis I have is through a node called pivot which just normalizes, Tomas showed me how to create it..I don't beleive there is any other acess to the axis at the moment, or it eludes me .

<> are clicked on to move ,rotate or scale using the values in the boxes at the far left, just like my plugin of the same name..they are rough versions of spin controls like in c++.

this script should help you understand how to use panels..you need to have the original somewhere..mine is inside a node in system..

as for instant update I didn't really want that or it ruins other options, but maybe it could be added in future if possible..I want to make it work with edit mode first..at the moment it only works once in edit mode, then stops unless you make a new selection..

thanks prodigy:D :D
