here's the link to the latest version of 'the object panel' tsx, now version 1.5..:)
http://ca.geocities.com/gubbie2/tsx.html
it only works in ts6.6 and ts7.11..:( sorry

it now works in point edit and SDS ..measuring between any two points of reference..start at zero anywhere, from the vertice, edge, face, or object you are working on....move bones, rotate joints

one known issue is it doesn't like sweep tools in edit mode..you may at times get a sudden crash if you don't close edit and reopen to clear the problem before it happens..:(

another known issue: at times when point editing with object coords ,they don't seem to work right, they may not move in one or more axis. just switch back to world coords on tsx panel.:)

another issue: size in point edit shows no values when scrolling....

ENJOY...Gord

Stan, excelent plugin..

I only find 3 thigs to make better on the future...

1) "Get object" automatic refresh

2) the posibility to enter a number with coma.. " 5.36 " from the keyboard.

3) the posibility to change the object units...

Very usesfull thanks for share.... :D

prodigy..glad you like it..:)

1; 'get obj' is a manual operation, and will stay that way..use 'auto' instead..

2; you can enter numbers with a decimal in X,Y,Z, but only with objects in world coords in 'get obj' mode.[it doesn't work in edit, or in 'auto', or with obj coords].otherwise you must enter numbers into the delta box on the far left..sorry that's the only way I could get it to work..

3; yes that would be handy, but I couldn't figure out how to implement it in the SDK..I did find a class that does unit conversion on the web, but not sure how to integrate it into my tsx yet..or if there is an easier way..
