New File Menu // The Garage

Here is New File Menu buttons.
1.) Import these six buttons into your Buttons/System library, which include Render, Draw, View, Reset, File, and Help.
2.) Control Drag and release all of them into the existing File Menu toolbar.
3.) Control Drag both the original File and Help and release it outside of toolbar, then close them.
4.) Do the same with the Top Bar Aspect View toolbar, removing everything except the Coordinates, and the X, Y, Z icons. See the included New File Menu.jpg for an example.
5.) Follow the recommended procedures for saving layouts and configurations.
Note: If you ever need to restore the original File Menu just select Reset from the triangle on the right side of the toolbar and the same goes for the Top Bar Aspect View toolbar.
IMPORTANT: Reseting the Default context will undo all of the above and restore both toolbars.
I have made some considerable changes to the original by replacing the Exit with the Shut Down, which is the recommended way to close trueSpace7. I have added Bridge Preferences (Auto, On, Off) and the Progress Report (Status Line) as well.
Additional options: I have included additional buttons so that you could incorporate both toolbars into one whole toolbar. See the included FileMenuTopBar.jpg for an example.
Install in the following order:
1) World (text version) or World Coordinate System (icon version)
2) X
3) Y
4) Z
5) Render
6) Draw
7) View
8) Reset
9) File
10) Help

You should be paid for this kind of stuff.....and this last statement is not directed toward you.....It's about time somebody listened! They had 7.11 to fix it and it took a user to listen. |

I would like to thank stan the most here as it is his sharing of the information that he discovers that has lead to what we have so far. Also Caligari for trueSpace7. So do you want me to make a Do all AXIS button for you? You make the icon and I will make the button for you. |

I have updated the New File Menu because I found that I duplicated the View Menu. :o

BTW, did you discovered why the Open_Recent_Files list is missing in tS7 ?
I don't understand why they didn't tried to add that feature back. There must be some unknown issue.
Any idea, someone ? |

I made a new toolbar that combines the TopBar Aspect View toolbar with the new File menu and made an installer for it here:
