In tS, the mouse wheel zooms using the center of the screen as zoom axis.

But a zoom_to_mouse is a common feature in CAD-like softwares.

The mouse wheel zooms in/out using the pointer's screen coordinates as zoom axis. It increases efficiency at work because you don't have to zoom-and-pan if you want to look at an object located in the corner of your screen.


You may say that I can select an object in that direction, double-clic the mouse wheel to center it, then zoom. But what if the center of the object's axis is far from its center, or if I don't want to deselect the object I'm working with... ?


I wonder if that feature could be added to tS as an auto-run plugin... Any ideas ?

have you tried the "eye zoom" tsx ..I think it came with ts7, it should be in the ts7 tsx folder in a sub folder called "eyezoom66"..or this one "zoom to fit".it's free found here http://ckgamefactory.hp.infoseek.co.jp/index-e.html

This is planed fo Player, together with area zoom. Feature will be available in ts7.5.
