Cool :)

This sounds like a very capable system if file import can be scripted. I wonder if export can be done as well (am interested in implications for MS Flight Simulator)

Thanks for posting a screen shot. That looks cool,

A small suggestion. Can you delete all your lights and start with one spot light and one ambient light. Should create something a little more moody.

Cheers

Easy Viz, I switch to model view and use material inspector or pick. Although there is a new one located in the player. When I use the one in model it brings up the texture properties. then I browse from there to the proper texture, then I paint the object. bump painted here is automatically turned into a normal map for player side. experiment with the amp setting, usually around .1 Good luck, Hope that helps. Cheers

Here is my extremely experimental not ready for prime time animation importer.:)

It does not add animation to a pre-existing object but imports the "skeleton" from the animation file. It's a proof of concept I hope to apply to the new bones when ts7.5 is done.

This script does not create a truespace skeleton. It creates geometry at the location of the doom3 joints and then animates them.

Some notes:

The model view must be open.

Autorecord must be on.

Something in the scene must already be animated.(don't know why)

It takes a while to load an animation.

There may be animation glitches. I tried 6 animations. One had a single glitch. One had multiple glitches and the others looked error free.

Hi Clinton,

I tried using the md5 mesh importer in TS7.5 and it does not seem to be wrking correctly, I keep getting an error.

Is your importer not compatible with TS7.5?

Let me know.

Thanks
