Not sure where this is going yet (although there are a lot of surreal characters in the works) but I thought a teaser for the site was necessary...:D

No kidding, I'm hate to admit, but I'm no where near that creative.

Awesome stuff as always.

My only minor nitpick is that some of yuor 'hero' bricks around the edge of the hole dodn't line up quite with the wall texture, but I'm sure the perfectionist in you has that spotted already....

Thanks guys. I just hope that the final product lives up to the intrigue. I am looking forward to this one though but where to find the time?

Doris needs work and I still have to write Bob and Blob....I daren't even start on some of the other ideas I have and Harold's House is in the early stages of development.

So much to do...so little time.

Oh, regarding details, I made this in an hour as a placeholder...I will fix and replace just as soon as I get a minute....

...which will probably be today knowing me....:o

Coincidence or fate?

You decide.

While making this stuff my Toshiba laptop has gone there...Limbo that is...

No power lights, no sign of life and no easy way to retrieve the scenes for this and the couple of dozen school reports I had just written as the deadline is tomorrow!!

Only a few weeks old as well...

Cripes...:(

That's strange, only a few weeks old? Did the battery get loose or something?

It restarted on me a few times for no reason over the last few days. Tonight it went off and will not restart. I checked the external PSU and it is fine but there are no lights on the laptop when you plug the PSU in and no sign of life at all when you press the power button...:o

I will hazard a guess that there are internal thermal problems with the unit and the power board has fried, possibly taking the mobo with it......

Oh well...back to the desktop for a while!!

If possible, put the laptop's HD in, or connect it to, the desktop to get the school reports, limbo files, etc.

Yikes, that's a shame. My experience has been that is some hardware is going to fail it will happen within the first 6 months or so.

When I first got my company supplied laptop a while back, I was working on it for about 2 1/2 months and had a similar problem, came down to heat fried the circuits on the mobo and HDD all at the same time, made a nice paper weight. I quit my job shortly after that. :D

Hope you have better luck. Hopefully you can remove the hard Drive and get your files back.

Files retrieved no problem but it is amazing how reliant I have become on using the laptop...seems weird not having one. Still, Toshiba promise to turn the repair around fast so I might actually have it back by the end of next week...:o

Great work Splinters and I especially like the cleverness of the logo. Kinda reminds me of the Thing. How's he doing these days btw?
