Well I took a break from that wagon ...... and haven't got back to it. :D

I've been working on scripts for a website.

I did fool around with some models, nothing big just wanted to do something besides flat boards :/.

So here are a few things I did.

16323

Playing around with bottles trying to see how the glass would come out and decided to finish them with a perfume cap.

16325

Wanted to model something from a reference so did this. It is a jug that was in the room.

16324

I figured my wagon would need a barrel or two so after I got one done I started converting it to different kinds.

Well like I said they aren't anything major just had fun with them and thought I post them in here.

Great work Mike. I just love the first image. Strangely, perfume bottles was third on that list I drew up when researching my SMC subject. There are some stunning designs out there.

Incidently, I was looking for your stuff on Turbosquid the other day and it had all vanished. Thought I'd mention it in case you were unaware.

Thanks Breech and tahnoak.

Breech - There still there. Turbosquid is very kind and help me out with my sabbath. They take my models down on that day so I won't do business on that day.

Nice perfume bottles, indeed! Very nice materials in particular. For the barrels, the lighting seems a bit harsh and bright, making it less realistic-seeming than your other 2 images (though that may be deliberate, to give it more of a cartoon or computer game feel). Personally I would like to see them with different lighting as they look like good models :) The wood textures in there might use some dirtying up.

Cool that TurboSquid are helpful enough to arrange that for you, at least when looking for your stuff folks will now know that it isn't accidental or that you've removed it all :)

Thanks!

Tom

Afraid I'm not good at all with lighting.

Everything I do ends up on a foggy london street :D

Here I try to hide everything in the dark :D

16357

Here I give up and turn some lights on.

Tell me how you did the foggy atmosphere I may need that one day :D I am still learning about lighting. I tend to use the presets and then modify them to my liking.

Yeah I tend to just tweek the defaults to but that keeps it so limited especially when you see all the great lighting in other's work :D

The fog is just TS default fog (I do up the blue a little usually).
