The BBC has an article ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6305957.stm ) which reveals that People who upload their own films to video-sharing website YouTube will soon get a share of the ad revenue.

Only people who own the full copyright will get ad money.


That sound like anyone we know? There are already a few trueSpace animations on the site, but this will surely stimulate more of us to post our works online. Won't be for another 6 months.

It looks like another website does that as well which I found while researching flash... It's called brightcove.com. They allow for syndication I think paying artists a bit of the profit is the way to go IMHO.


But the hard part is finding artist that are worth purchasing from, so thank goodness for those rating systems.

Hm, might actually make it worthwhile to go from still-images to animations :rolleyes:

(hoping 7.5 actually has autobone,autofunanim and autosoundtrack ;) )
