This should have nothing to do with your new side screen, if not the drivers have fucXXX it all up.

Check your space and test your old monitor again, should be something else!?

Good luck, can't have it like that ;)

Ah!

I seem to have fixed it.

Evidently, when I was unpacking the monitor, some dust or something fell from the box onto the keyboard!

I gave it a bit of wind :D and now the space bar is working.

Some particle of something got stuck under the space bar.

-----------------------------------------------------

Now for the good news.

A wide screen monitor is the best thing a dude with trifocals can have! :D

Sometimes for me it is opposite; some whole-wheat toast with peanut-butter and raspberry jam gets wedged in there and I can't stop the spaces. Every once in awhile I will fire up the air compressor and run the hoses back to my office for general dusting and keyboard blasting. Then is life back to normal when the dust settles :)

James I'm glad it was nothing serious but :D Ha ha! your story could be a "B" story on an episode of "Big Bang Theory" - the 2 nerdy guys have a problem with their computer and finally its the blonde neighbour that finds half a piece of popcorn wedged under the space bar or something.
