In 7.6, when I load a scene with an animation previously saved the animation is missing and the character is much bigger and usually hald way into the ground.

Example:

- Create cube as floor

- Drag on tank girl with handles

- Animate a few key frames

- save and exit

- open with last scene (or reload) and you get her ripped from her bones with no animation - nasty! :(

Any help would be great as this is currently stopping me using the update as nothing I save can be reloaded!

Are you saving in the new 7.6 RsScn format or the old 6.6 COB/SCN formats?

Doh! I think that may be part of the problem as I've used the 6.6 menu to save!

Although the other menu with "file" on it often disappears (not sure why - I don't close it!) and shouldn't a save feature tell you that not everything will be saved?

Cheers for the reply though, I'll use the insert in the stack view to save if it happens again!

As a side question, what's the difference between the project and scene formats? :D

A scene captures the 3D stuff only - geometry, lighting, etc. A project also captures the state of the program itself, ie layout etc.

HTH!

There's a different file menu depending on whether you're in Workspace or Model side.
