Workspace side, I want to change a hotkey.
Only...it doesn't 'unset' the existing one, so now I have two hotkeys that activate the same icon.

This should be impossible...and yet...
trueSpace truly does the impossible!

To clarify:
I want the 'A' key to activate X axis lock toggle.
It's already set to the Eye Move function, so I reassign the hotkey for Eye Move to the 'M' key, and assign 'A' to X Lock.
In the above picture, I've just pressed the 'A' key.... but it stubbornly continues to activate Eye Move, and not the function that I've just reassigned it to do.
The end result is that now I've got two hotkeys for the same icon/function (something that should be impossible) , and no hotkey at all for X lock, even though the dialog box clearly states that it should be 'A'.

EDIT: Yes, I've restarted tS after setting the new key.

Can confirm as I have had the same issue even straight after a fresh install.

Hotkeys in Workspace are context sensitive, so which set of hotkeys are active depends upon what you are doing. You can, therefore, have the same key assigned to several different operations and what it does will depend upon what toolset is currently active.

It sounds like you may have assigned a hotkey under a different context to the one in which you are trying to use it.
