I think maybe more consistency with this would be ideal. Being able to right-click and bring up explorer would be better for me. Maybe then it would follow that double-clicking to reset a material would work, as I tend to do this far less than loading textures. If you see any that still require a CTRL-double click, please post a bug report. (what's that clunky sound?) I feel like a dope for not figuring this out sooner, but I'm glad to finally know the 'secret'.
