Weeha, bug number six today :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: :jumpy:


A simple bitmap greyscale picture. With one peak. trueSpace decides to make two peaks from it when using this picture as the replacement map.

Any clue why? I have not. UV repts is at 1 and 1 as you can see at this shot:

Hmm, downtracking. It has to do with the Bug "Panels Primitives Settings, typing in the values before creating ... "


When i apply the displacement mapping at an primitive as it is created it works as thought. But when i type in my values to change the size and resolution to my needs and then apply the displacement mapping i get this strange result.

Also, i've found that truespace multiplies the amount of uv repetions when you create a primative. if it's a plane add planar mapping and the displacement map works fine:
