WooHoo! Two copyright infringements at once!

Anyway.. here's Mitsurugi, swingin around his katana. And my question. How do you good, talented people get smooth animations? Should the skeleton be covered head to toe with locks? Anything like that..?

I assumed the skeleton would be hidden..

Well...I don't pay attention to soul caliber so I can't say as the model looks like what it's supposed to be but regardless it looks pretty good. As for the animation, it's smooth, it just needs a little more direction, what I would do is to download a video of this bloke going 'yah' or what it is he does and then 'trace' animate it, then add your variations to it.

LOL!!

Yeah, I'm just going by memory.. it's just weird because his arms and legs don't go where I think they're going. Maybe I just need to take my time, and yes, cover the guy in locks.

Cool! I'm not familiar with the source material but he looks pretty smooth.

Re the visible skeleton - you can toggle the visibility in the Skeleton Encapsulator box in the LE. I almost always turn the visibility off as they show up whenever you want to use a skeleton modifier or dynapose anyway.

3DFrog, I love your Jedi animations! But I can't get them to work with the Lego skin. I can reshape the skeleton and attach the skin in the default pose, but the skeleton goes back to its original proportions from frame 2 onward :(
