I found yet another bug in TS 7.5 (at least I think it's a bug...), but this one actually helped me, and could help someone else. I was just messing around with the hair tool and a sphere to create something abstract, and I made this. I know it's not the best piece of artwork, but the "bug" gave it a good effect. It made the hair appear thicker, more like a blade of grass. All I did was put some hair on a sphere, click on one of the hair tools, then go into the "Model" tab, and the hair looked all funky, so I rendered it, and it looked like this! HTH anyone trying to make a scene with grass; you can probably do the same thing on a cube and paint it green to make it look like grass. HTH someone! (I'm going to have to send a lower res. one because it exceeds the forum's size limit)

LOL, nice Steinie! I love making abstract art in TrueSpace, then seeing what other people think it is! :D I don't even know what it is, so don't ask me! I made a very simple scene in about 5 minutes to see if this "bug" could help to make better looking grass, and I came up with this. HTH someone other than me! |

Haven't been in this thread in a while...
I found another bug in TS 7.5 that actually turned out kinda neat looking...
This one isn't with hair, though, it was with the TrueParticles....
Let's play "What does Steinie See In This Picture?"! :D
I'm going to take a guess and say it's a Scottish Terrier swimming in endless black water.... ;)
Bleh... The render didn't turn out as good as I hoped, but it's still kinda neat...

The er, other one is it what Moses saw lying in the basket? Egyptian reeds and probably Egyptian water. Depending on where it flows through. There are conflicting claims :)
Or the last thing a drowning man saw of the riverbank as the water closes around him and draws him down ever down <shiver> :)
