I assume that you solved your rig jumping out of your mesh problem? I this correct? And you have UVMAp on your character now too...

What is the problem stopping you?


Animation looks pretty good, don't stop now!

Thanks, but the problem's still there.. that was a VERY early movie clip. Any suggestions?

You Could use procedrual animations. Unless the lego guy is supposed to have movement closer to human motions.


That would get rid of the bones

Have you tried to re rig with a new skeleton?

I have seen rigs jump out before, but I do not know why yours did.

I'm rigging a new skeleton now, it turns out that you (or maybe it's just me) can't get a UV map in workspace if you've already attached the skin to the skeleton. You can in model space, tho.


I've had the skeleton jumping out of its skin problem a few times, an I did fix it by just unattaching the skin and bones, moving things around, and re-doing. I just can't stand to do it like, every time I work on my stuff :)
