Vray material dissappeared // Bugs 1  |   Order by default Post by splinters // Jun 17, 2007, 9:26pm splinters Total Posts: 4148 I am working on my Little Cloud scene and every so often (no real pattern) when I paint a Vray SSS material on a body part, it shows as plain grey when I render the scene. No matter how much I repaint it is always grey. I have to save the scene, switch to another then reload it and voila it is the right colour on render again...until the next time it happens. Repeat ad infinum..:o All in Vray and model here, no switching to LW or workspace Post by Cthulhu // Jun 19, 2007, 6:30pm Cthulhu Total Posts: 48 Oh, good, I'm not crazy. :D http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=3258 I'm still not sure how this happens, but I know that at some point in the modeling process the material editor on the Workspace side overrides the one on the the Model side. So you can only paint a new material onto the object from Workspace, and painting from the Model side will load the default "gray" again.
