Sorry for large images but for the Caligari team to have direct access to bug-report screenshots with clear labels. Large images are generally thought to be a bad idea to not clog/slow a forum but these images are linked from my personal image server. Do please say moderator if we should only post links, that's ok

I was working in Workspace and needed to adjust the Area light's brightness so I set the realtime render to Wireframe mode and rotated the view. The view stopped suddenly and I could not move the view, I was in a corner of a room and thought collision detection at first but I could not select objects

I switched to a new 3D window and switched in that window to Model view. In the background the Workspace view stopped working and the error message you can see in the shots below

I tried a Vray render and that worked ok. I created an object (even though working blind in Workspace) and rendered it in Vray and that worked ok too

ts7.exe is only using 166MB and is running ok otherwise. Now that I restarted 7.51 I mean. I should have looked to see how much memory was in use by 7.51 sorry as memory running out might account for it

I shut down 7.51 and restarted and all is well again

Very small first bounce because as usual lighting is much too strong compared to the 7.11 scene. Then I tried to turn down the brightness of the Area light and that work caused the problem I'm reporting, the machine specs in my sig are correct
