tS7.51 Lockup On Attaching Skeleton // Bugs

I've been trying to play with attaching a simple skeleton (a few bones in a straight line) to a simple polygonal object (a slightly sub-divided cylinder, cube, sphere, etc.) in Workspace. Things are fine when I click the "Attach skin to skeleton" tool: The cursor changes shape, the mesh color changes as I mouse over it, etc., just as described in the manual. But when I actually click on the mesh, tS locks up. It stops responding in any way. The mouse cursor -- still in its special "skinning" shape -- still moves, but nothing in tS lets me click on it. In Task Manager, tS shows as Not Responding, and I have to close it there. Trying different shapes, as mentioned above, has no effect.
I've tried displaying the Output Console (in Full mode) right before selecting the "Attach skin to skeleton" tool, to see if it displays anything odd when I make the "fatal click". But it doesn't display any additional lines when I do so, as if the lockup occurs before anything can get logged to the console.
Reducing all the real-time display parameters to their lowest settings has no impact, nor does selecting wireframe mode instead of solid render mode, etc.
I hadn't gotten around to trying this in tS7.5, so I don't know whether the tS7.51 upgrade is the culprit or not.
Any help would be appreciated, of course. |

Hi , Locate and remove the default.ctx from the tS directory and also the init.js from tS\Scripts directory .
when you next launch this will allow ts751 to launch in a default state.
Then try the tools again , to see if the problem still shows.

Hello ,
I have same problem when i try to attach my skin model to the skeleton
program hang , cursor can move , but must kill program ts751
I have also removed defaut.ctx file and init.js same punition , TS hangs !
PS: the same thing runs fine on TS 7.5
after relaunching TS751 defaut.ctx and init.js are not regenerated
