Where are you supposed to report bugs? I am asking as minor things like popups showing split across two monitors making them impossible to read are still there. I am assuming my post in the bugs forum was not seen or read. Still to check if any others have been fixed.

Just finished uninstalling and reinstalling Truespace as installing over the top as mentioned was NOT a good idea. No end of issues doing that.

Not particularly happy.

bit off topic but I installed over and deleted the default.ctx and it works fine - had problems with toolbars before deleting the default file though....the new menu wasn't working...

Hi you can put the relevant information in the bugs section here , if you dont get an answer or resolve then:

theres a form available by clicking the I need help , on the page here :

http://www.caligari.com/Help/TechnicalSupport/FAQ/NewTechFAQ.asp?Cate=Help&SubCate=Techsupport .

Or you can send an email into one of the two email adresses at the top of the page depending on the nature of your problem.

If you send an email to support please give much information about your OS and hardware as possible.

if its a customer service related issue theres a form available by clicking the I need help , on the page here :

http://www.caligari.com/Help/TechnicalSupport/FAQ/NewCustomerFAQ.asp?Cate=Help&SubCate=Custsupport

thanks

Thank you for that. I think in future I really need to stop, think, then write down my issues as they arise. I have been tending to jump of the deep end and I am sorry for that.

Now off to see if I can get into the trueplay side of things.

Cheers

Nice one Mike

Yes for people starting out it's tricky to know what's a bug and what isn't, the 'It Could Be Me' syndrome :)

Soon as something unexpected happens I'm going to pop a note in here and if it turns out it was because I don't know all there is to know about TrueSpace someone will tell me. Crikey have you seen the War And Peace manuals. The ego-loss suffered in that case is only a minor bruise anyway :)

By a popup Mike do you mean a window detached from the main TS window like the Vray render window?

Its like a tooltip. You know when you hover over a button in some apps a tip pops up where your mouse is with some extra information or the name of that button. Well the little tip that opens telling you about that library item overlaps between my two monitors. This is in default layout. I now have my layout with the library on the far right of my second monitor so no issue for me anymore.

Cheers
