Holding control on bootup and choosing default doesn't set it to default even if you tick default. I cant open truespace properly now and only the library panel is showing.

Please help

I can confirm. The reset to default context check box does not appear to be working. :(

You may want to try loading it with the checkbox unchecked incase the checkbox is backwards.

Nope doesn't work that way either.

I bodged a way round it however. Using a dual screen setup I can tell every time when its going to do it again.

On the task bar I can see truespace7.51. I close the application and reopen this time I see the above plus another Space 3D in the task bar. I know now that when I close Truespace and then reopen it everything on my left monitor will be gone and I will have to fiddle and resize etc to find a way to load default from some menu then fiddle and resize to find the newly loaded tabs and select default that way. What is this Space3d?

Cheers

Sorry about the above. Space 3d is the main 3d window that somehow manages to separate itself from within Truespace.

I have included a screen shot showing this 'separated' part of Truespace. If you want the interface I use to test it with I gave it away in the freestuff thread.

if you look close you will see space3d is what is selected on the taskbar and to the right is Truespace.

"Space 3D" is the name of your scene ;)

Glad you found a work around. Looks like a re-install for me. :o

Ack. Required a full uninstall and deleting the directory then re-install for me to get back up and running. So do not use the CTRL key option to reset default context. :(

I ended up reinstalling as well. Looks like any self made configs are not compatable with ts7.51 as I tried them again with the clean install and they cause the same issue.

I need to do some thinking on this.

I have fixed this issue. Its a niggly issue that could be fixed with one feature. If you want to know what the feature is make me a beta tester. :)

Anyway. I found that there was a hidden window that was causing the problem. With very careful fiddling I managed to kill that window and now have a working dual screen setup. Not fun but at least its fixed.

I will post the fixed version up soon.

Cheers
