I've noticed in the Model space that the mouse wheel looses its zoom function on floating windows when you click on something outside the model space (the Library/Panel/Settings area, timeline, etc.). You have to click back on the main background window, then go back to your floating window for the wheel zoom to work. This same glitch also causes the inability to delete an object. Again, you have to click on the background window to get things going again.
