When i am in point edit mode and create a primitive, this primitive becomes part of the selected object where i am in point edit mode with.

Is it meant this way? Shouldn't it leave the point edit mode when i click at one of the primitives buttons?

Not just a theoretic question. Happened accidentally to me. I thought i had left point edit. Well, sure, i could delete all the new edges. But it was a 64 reso sphere, overlapping my other mesh ... :)

Weird, I just now did the same thing and then read this thread. So now you have two objects joined like Siamese twins. The benefits are?....

Also why does TS 7.5 feel like it is doing things backwards? Select a primitive, create primitive then change it's settings. Why not Select primitive, change settings, then create?

Visual feedback? Like the old magic ring system? (Though I think the sliders in the stack are a lot nicer and easier to use than the old magic ring system, I never liked that)

Again if I right click any primitive icon it opens the Primitives panel in Panels.
Within the Primitives panel is a menu for all primitives and you could preset there settings before using any primitive.

Cool.

7.5 has a lot of hidden goodness.

TrueBlue,

I read what you had said the first time but wouldn't that be setting the "default" of that primitive? I was wondering why I can't set the parameters before creating each time I use the same primitive and not effecting the "default" settings. Am I missing something here?

Yes changing the Primitive's panel in any aspect "Sphere" would be changing their defaults before use. I really do not understand what it is what you would like to do. Seems very intuitive to just select a primitive from toolbar and Left/Right click + drag in D3D View to create any primitive. Then you can adjust their panel in Link Editor.
