Hi..

I found a bug over the polygon draw tool...

First create a simple plane..

then using the right mouse button choose the polygon draw tool..

Now make some lines over the plane like the image and press Space...

At last you must make 3 lines over the plane...

Hi Prodigy,

Yep, posting bugs is no problem! In this case, you don't say what happens when you press space though - a crash, some odd effect on the poly draw?

One thing to note is that this looks like the Modeler side, and Modeler side tools are no longer being updated or fixed. Poly drawing will now all happen in the Player side, and that's where all the work will be going (since the Modeler side will be removed in time when it becomes redundant and everything is replaced in the new code).

No sense in investing time into fixing old code that is destined to be removed anyway when that same time can go into making the new code, which will be with us for a long time, better :)

Let me know if I am wrong about this being Modeler side though in case it is something we need to be looking into for 7.5.

Thanks!

Tom

Yes I don't think that capability is there in 7.1 that I recall, on the Player side. It's moved over in 7.5 though.

One thing to note is that it does require the shape be closed, rather than left open.

The good news is that the old code is not being reused - everything is so different that it would be pretty much impossible to lift the old code out and drop it into the new code, it's such a different way of doing things.

This is what makes tS7 able to move forward with things users have wanted for a while, it is a very radical change under the hood :)

Thanks!

Tom
