I don't have any network pb but I can't use the TS shared space ...


I have this message :

You'll get that message if your using TS 7 and not truePlay. The Network was updated and TS 7 was not. You will need the latest version of truePlay too.

After I answered your question Caligari sent out another update now up to 1.21 of TruePlay/truePlace so that should fix your problems. Here is their email message:

truePlay1.21 fixes and improvements!



Dear truePlace member,

We apologize for some problems in truePlay1.2 (the player which accesses truePlace) which has forced us to release a service pack only a week after original release. On plus side we were able to include some important improvements:

1. The installation process has been improved to eliminate problems encountered by some users

2. You can now run truePlay and trueSpace at the same time

3. truePlay will remember your log-in name and password if you check the "Remember Me" box, so you can visit spaces from a link with a single click!

4. Navigation inside truePlace has been improved

5. Triggers for activating actions by mouse clicks have been improved

6. Fixes to the graphics to correct some visual errors

7. Improvements to the lobby (the space you see when you run truePlay offline)

We know that many of you will just have installed truePlay recently, but we believe taking the time to install this new version will give you a much better experience in truePlace! Here's how to update your installation:

i) Visit the Registration area, and sign in with your username and password (the same username and password you use to log in to truePlace).

ii) You will find a list of Order IDs once you are logged in - clicking on these will show the products contained under that order at the bottom of the screen.

If you have more than one Order ID, check each until you find "truePlay" listed, this is the name of the viewer for truePlace. Download this file. Note that there is no version number on the file, but this is a more recent version than the one you already have installed.

iii) Uninstall your current copy of truePlace

iii) Now run the new truePlace installation you just downloaded, and you are done! Your login details remain the same.

We've also made some updates to the truePlace spaces themselves. You'll now find helpful signposts when you sign into the Forum, and of course our new Gallery is live and ready for you to visit! You can read more on the truePlace information page, and see what destinations are currently available on the trueSpaces page.
