I don't know how to name that topic properly, there are some very strange things happening with my tS7.11 installation. First, on modeler side, the Load>Scene button disappeared. Resetting or reloading the menu didn't help. I digged my way through to the menu in LE, made a copy of the load object and renamed the requiered fields. Done. Works again, but only with a new loaded file menu. I can't get rid of the old one.
Then the player/modeler tabs on the 3D window vanished (again). Clicked default layout, but nothing changed. Deleted 3D window, created new one...no 3D window. WTH...Reset to default context. tS restarted, everything's fine.....oh, what's that? Two navigation widgets? I never touched those widgets, just the background ones. OK, somehow I managed to get rid of one, I think I did a rightclick on one and hit DEL, gone.
Then I tried to drag a DX material from the default library on my object in player window (from Player Library). Nothing. I chose to try my own Materials, they worked.
I really don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm getting a bit annoyed. Instead of creating some content I'm constantly fighting problems. |

I have problems with the panels too.. i cant drag any object... i dont know what happend.. but i cant use anithing on the player side..

You may be in for an uninstall-reinstall.
But before you do that....
Take a look in your tS folder and sort the files by date.
You should see several files that were updated on the same time and date on the last time you ran tS. Try deleting these and then running tS.
On my box, these are the files that I would delete:
truespace.prl
truespace.key
truespace.cfl
truespace.cfg
rosetta.log
playerD3D.log
default.ctx
truespace.tsp
vray.log
I'm guessing that one of these may have gotten corrupted?

I deleted those files as suggested, but the problem with the missing "load scene" menu item still remains. I will do a reinstall. |

Graysho,
Have you tried to Reset that toolbar? Click on the triangle on the right side and select Reset. Also in Modeler there is Toolbars where the Plugin icon is you can try MainMenu. |

I have to add, it disappeared again, the next time I started. I finally have reinstalled truespace and I'm not going to use LE anymore (or tS7 at all). |
