The materials V-RAY shaders page can not be found. Leads to no where. |

Best thing to do is to email Caligari with the problem, they usually fix stuff pretty quickly, providing it's not the weekend.

There are no V-Ray shaders available for download at the moment, which is why it goes nowhere :)
There are plans to get some libraries up there, and so the link is in place for the navigation (no sense designing it twice, when you know for sure you will be adding a page). The link will go somewhere as soon as there is content at the other end ;)
HTH!

Sweet, does that mean we're gonna get some mapped shaders that let us throw maps in for all the different channels?
Like say um specular............ :p

The current version of V-Ray does not support mapped / layered shaders. Rather than new code, the shaders that will be going on the page will be "material settings" if you like - ie shaders you already have, with particular settings to achieve particular results. So that would cover having different types of metal like gold, copper, silver, etc.
For totally new shaders in the sense of new code, we'll need to wait for future V-Ray releases unfortunately. Sorry to disappoint on that front.

I believe that would be the Chaos Group (http://www.chaosgroup.com/). |
