A couple of days ago I had a problem with TS 7.1 (I closed it out wrong.) So i deleted the default.ctx to get the defaul back, which worked fine.
Unfortunatly, I mis-placed a toolbar. I used to be able to select (by large Icons), render to screen or render to file. This allowed me to use the render a portion of the screen tool, and have it render that portion to a file, with a choice of size.
The question is, how can I get that functionality back?
Thanks!

Thanks, hultek43.
I dont think it will help, but I'll give it a try anyway.
The tool I was using before allready existed in a clean install. I didnt have to create any new buttons. I wonder where they went? :)

Yeah, I got those. It isnt so much the size that I care about, its being able to select "render to file" and then use the "render portion of screen", so the rectangle selected gets rendered to a file. Its a functionality present in TS 6, and was wondering if it is available in TS7.1

Kurt..it's possible in ts7.11 but you need to use hotkeys for "render to file" & "render to screen"..I can't seem to find the icons |

Thanks, stan!
That was it. I forgot I had to use a hot key. I was confused because I'm allways switching between 6.6 and 7.1 .
Thanks again!

I'm not sure how relevant this is at this point, but I know in 6.6 you can hold down the Control key while drawing the marquee for Area Render and then the 'Render to File' dialog pops up. Whether this works in tS7 or not is up to you to test. |

The render selection tool is at the top in with the render icons in TS 7.11, once selected you can hold Ctrl and click and drag the area you want to render and render to file.
