The preview scenes and objects natively in Windows Explorer does not seems to work for me.

Does it need some action to run or am I missing something ?

I have both tS6.0 and tS7.01 installed on the same computer.

You need Caligari Thumbnails which 'should' be in your TS6 intallation CD. Otherwise I am not sure as it is not part of current TS7 install. I will mention it to Beta again...

Also I do not know why they associate image files with trueSpace. It does not open an image within trueSpace.

with caligari thumbnail viewer you can get thumbnails in explorer even in ts7, but only on .cob .scn found in truespace7/ts/library..make sure view is set to thumbnails in explorer..

There was no Caligari Thumbnails panel or something during tS7.01 installation.

I browsed the CD and found nothing relative to it.

Hum... you must be right. I can't find it in the tS7 specifications page... It seems that this feature has not survived to the tS7 revolution

I did not upgrade from tS6.0 to 6.6. But now, I start to wonder if I should upgrade to tS6.6 to have a good piece of software -just to model more effectively- and keep tS7 for its player and HDRI features

A very good question. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that it can't handle/deal with the new .rs* files?
