Hallo

Seemingly there is a difference between the measures of the solid and the

outline part of the same cube. Is this a common known effect? You must be

very near with the camera to the object.

Thank You Stan.

Yes I used the wheel. But when I move and scale with the icons, it happens

too, but not so intense. (I think it is a DirektX Problem between lines and faces.)

yes Martin you are right..it seems to do it here too with camera..but it seems to work better in perspective view than ts66 with scrollwheel..

the player doesn't seem to have any problem like that with dx9..

This a very old problem with the solid display seperating from wire display when close to objects. It's been there for years - literally years. Although I've never heard an explanation as to why it happens I think we have to assume it isn't fixable otherwise it would have been fixed a long while back.

Not fixable can't be, not very high on the priority list is my guess. This problem exists since I can rembember working with versions of truespace.

Everything is fixable, but this one requires rewrite of a lot of code due to missing place for geometry split by near plane. Therefor if was never updated, and will most likely never be as whole functionality will be moved to new renderer.
