As the title says. What's up with that? I'm in modeler. It'll under stuff before an eye move/rotate, but it won't undo the eye move/rotate itself. That's kinda crappy, since I'm used to doing that ALL THE TIME. ;-)

you can..if the old undo / redo icons aren't in your layout..go to icon finder ..right click the undo or redo icon and the settings panel appears..just like in 6.6 select "undo/redo all actions"

I don't recall Undo ever having any kind of interraction with view changes. I still have 6.6 installed & tried it in there, but it didn't do it. TBH, I didn't expect it to, as Undo is meant for stuff you do to your scene/model, not the way you view them. Having said all that, you might be able to acheive something similar to what you describe if you added in a camera & used the camera view.

...or you could do it Stan's way. :o

Why should I have to manually re-add the old undo icon? Why doesn't the new one work? That's a bug as far as I'm concerned. I presume if I add the old one in, that one won't under other stuff. Why would there be two anyway? Just make the new one work correctly and eliminate the old one, otherwise you end up with what appears to be a VERY kludgy program. I've found a lot of stuff like that that seems to be duplicated and it makes no sense at all to me.

If your view is from a camera and you move the camera and therefore the viewpoint, then it can be undone.

If you are in tS7 you are effectively running two different programs simultaneously withe two different undos - one for each program (the Player and Model views). The undos are independant in this case.

Yeah, I did. I saw your post as soon as I'd posted mine. Tried the same thing in 7, but no sign of a similar option panel. Not that I'm really bothered about it at the moment, I only tried it out of curiosity.

no Alien, the player is a shell or some such thing as you described it..and that stack undo..it seems you need scripting knowledge to use it..

I was referring to the 1 in the modeler window, which [AFAIK] is supposed to be the old Undo. I tried right-clicking that 1 as well - nothing.

I found the setting by using the Icon Helper. Select the Icon Helper. Scroll down to Undo. Select the Find Icon tool and click on "Un/redo any type of pervious action". The dialog box for this setting will pop up.
