I pre-ordered tS7.0 before it was released and with that I also received a free copy of tS6.6.
As a trueSpace7.5 user/owner I would prefer not to have the bridge that supports trueSpace6. I would rather trueSpace7 stand on it's own and be able to import cob files. |

Once all the "in house" tools operate in workspace, I vote yes 100%. While I need to do booleans, fix the odd SDS edges in workspace(in model 6.6.... you know), work with splines, render with lightworks, deform with a cage, create particles adjust system metrics, animate a path, expot to .obj, adjust lights(params that don't appear in workspace), or blah blah blah blahblah blah blahblah.
Anyway......after that, I agree 100%. I'll tell my grandchildren stories about it.;) |

Sounds like a plan for tS8 - Caligari are providing the bridge for us the users to walk across from old historical tS to a bright and shiny new tS. The metaphor is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes.:jumpy: |

Caligari's roots were with the Amiga. One board for the Amiga was called a "BridgeBoard". Basically an IBM 286 Computer that would work with the Amiga Architecture. Can't shake that Bridge.... |

Guys, you can simply turn the bridge off and forget about model side, alternatively, those who want a better UI, animation and Vray but want familiar tS6.6 interface are happy too.
Get rid of the model side and you alienate a large user base.
I, for one, see this as part of my arsenal just like any pak or plug-in. I like to have it to hand without having to install stuff...I imagine that, even when all tools are ported over to workspace, I will still nip over to model side....and until the spacenavigator (or similar) is supported I have no choice but to use model anyway...:o |

Me too, it's like "playboy" if you don't like it you do not need to read it. |
