LOL - These little guys are great! What a clever idea johny.

I can't help myself I just keep seeing all these captions to go with this picture:

"Ooh, I'm feeling a little light headed"

"Resistors are futile"

"Diode you scum"

anyone else?

...and in one awkward moment in time after realizing they were wearing the same socks, their faces flushed, as the silence was broken by a single question...ohmmmmmmmm you want to see Brokeback Mountain?

Thanks for the comment ;)

Here an update with another pose.

PS: Not any Resistor or LED was being broken on this project. All is simulate by computer. :D

Looks like a proposition, a scene from Romeo and Juliet perhaps.

Nice work Johny, it's certainly a new way to make electric movies.:D

I wonder what LED him to choose these characters. Still, characters aren't the easiest thing to do in 3D, so it's good to see that he's soldering on.

Interesting characters, I wonder where your going to go from here; animations maybe, or is this just for fun.:D

3D is a good outlet for re-directing personal energy in the current Internet.

Nice pics and his ideas are well-grounded.

Would be neat to see how they'd work in a short. Err um... in a short animation I mean.

Ok, not nearly as funny as the rest but you guys took the good ones. :)

...she couldn't resist wearing those shocking socks, while in the background AC/DC played to capacity their current hit on the boob tube......

Animation? Ok. I will try to animation it.

But I still have some problem with skeleton animation setting.

I want that skeleton animation only effect on "Resistor" position and location, but it also changed the resistor dimension. :(

Can anyone tell me where I can find setting panel for lock an object dimension so it's dimension can not be change by skeleton animation? or may be other solution?

Now, I'm the last guy that should be giving out animation advice, but I think that IK joints might be a better method than using bones.
Bones deform whatever they touch, IK is simple hinge joints, which might be a better approach for a man made out of wires and capsules.

Spacekdet is correct, Johny. If you don't need skin deformation and just want the object to move/rotate, then using joints would be your best bet.

If you do want skin deformation and a really good IK system with multiple nails, then I'd suggest trying the MotionStudio demo. :) http://www.pixelfu.com/MotionStudio/

Hope this helps!

Somebody should model a fish - there's always lots of fish puns.

Obviously these are fun characters Johny. I hope we see them animated. :)

Hear hear - Some animations would be great.
