Some days ago one little tool had me saved some time.
Instead of repositioning each vertex at a hallway (an underground labyrinth) I had needed a tool where I could move all vertices in a random normal position (means first select all vertices and then activate the tool and slide with the mouse the position of the vertices- kind of scatter).

And now I would like to know which tool functions you would like to have. Something you miss in trueSpace or in other programs which would make your work easier.

Mostly an action can be done in every program with different steps. Either you need one step (tool) which can what you want or you need more steps (tools) to do it and I would like to know if maybe one tool could be used to do more then just one function or if you have a "must have" tool in mind.

I'm not a programmer so I can't say that I will program that tool but maybe we get some "avantgarde" functions?

This is a function I wish we could do with one button. I bet Stan could probably make it too.... Axis (to show axis), normalize location, normalize rotation, Axis (to hide axis).

Steinie..there doesn't seem to be any object axis in the dev docs..unless it's a widget..I could be wrong..  ..there is no "show axis" like in the old sdk or I would have tried to make it work :D ..

I'd like to see a mesh modifier system, like bend, twist, smooth, rough (random repositioning of vertices) and so on, with the possibility to edit, animate and remove the modifier at any time. Pretty much like max has it since ages. SDS could also be a mesh modifier. For SDS I'd like set a number of sds layers that only affect the mesh at rendertime. Like two values for SDS, one for editing, one for rendering (Blender has it).

The mesh modifiers could be editable in stack view, like object properties. Please no additional icons for that (no cluttering).
