I just downloaded some of the TruePLay 3D recordings....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Maybe I am missing something...but it would be nice to be able to 'scrub' through the recording so I can move to parts of the recording and play from there.

Currently it apperas that the recordings can be paused and reset but there is no way to advance to a section and play from there. The robot modeling tutorial being my example...I would think there would be times the users just what to fast forward to say the last 1/8 of the recording for review and final touches.

Right now it looks like you would have to watch the entire recording again just to review something you saw at the end. Which depending on the size of the recording could be very cumbersome.

Hi Vinny,

I just saw a scrub bar in the truePlay workshop area.

It appears this is a script and can be attached to your own truePlay scenes.

You can also right click on the play tool, I think it is. This brings up a panel allowing you to set playback speed (so you can in effect fast forward), and I believe there is also a "play backward" function which acts as a rewind.

From what I recall off the top of my head, you had to stop or pause and then hit play backward, otherwise it wouldnt work (if it was already playing, hitting play backward did not reverse it).

May be a good way to access particular parts of 3D recordings in the meantime :)

HTH!
