How can we extrude a line in Player?

I know the fact that we can use nurbs to extrude ONLY edges. But that is not what I'm talking here.

We should be able to extrude a line(it's called 'row of dots' in TS) in different directions even if it is in between of a surface.

Another suggestion is extruding surfaces FROM points or lines. For ex, I select a point and when I click the extrude button it will first convert it to a surface and then extrudes it. Same thing about the line.

Another suggestion that might dissolve the above suggestion is to be able to convert points , lines and surfaces to each other. for ex, you select a line and convert to surface(currently somehow possible with altrnative way of adding a paralel line on the same surface). or you select a surface and convert it to a point.

Another one is to have the 'refine patch' (in NURBS) available for normal objects. for ex, the SDS object Hand (in the player SDS library) There is no way i can add a loop along its palm.

May be these have been alraedy implemented in the update. So I will stop here and wait to see the update.

Cheers,

I'm not sure if I understand you right. Edge extrude is surely a feature I'd like to see. Currently it's only possible with polytools from ck game factory.

Converting a face to a vertex? Select the face and use the weld tool. Works with edges as well.

I don't know how you want a vertex to be converted to a face. Maybe you mean vertex bevel or something. That's something I requested already. Would be a nifty feature.

Maybe something like this?

That is exactly what i meant. And it doesn't have to be actually on the surface, it should also work with the corners.

Cheers,
