the model side image browser has great informative tooltips ..the ability to change thumbnail size to suit your needs..:)

the new bitmap library has 1d 2d and 1+2. tooltip are bare bones info...thats not as flexable a system..it's inferior

I know I sure would like to have the similar setup as in the old library system ..choose text or not..thumbnails with flexable sizing

also the scrollbar system in new stack library system should have scrollwheel function..and an ability to change the scrollbar's size..:D

in many of the libraries you can insert objects that you shouldn't be allowed to.. there no save guards against me putting almost any object into the bitmap library..it even accepts widgets

Stan this is by design. Quoting from the Artist's Guide page 43 "Note that in the example above we added a material to a 3D object library. This is perfectly legal in trueSpace, where object categories are entirely up to you and your intentions."

well it's not possible to put anything but a scene in the scene library when you right click, insert scene..

but in the bitmap library you right click insert bitmap.... it will insert a texture node when you wanted the texture's image ..if it's a node object [simple plane] with a texture map on it, it inserts the cob object node..

but,on a toolbar button node is an image it will insert that image, not the toolbar button's node..
