Hello, i belive it will be a good deal to bring LWA enabled to Truespace.

I see many materials on the Lightworks Internet page and would the librarys download.

I mean material librarys like this

Thanky for all the great programmer that can make it possible to bring it in Truespace.

Yes this was brought up in beta testing as well. AFAIK, it is on "the list" and will be looked at.

I noticed that there appears to be more than one kind of LWA enabled materials. i.e. "Base" and "Architectural and Industrial".

Does this functionality difference mean that there would be additional costs associated with the use of certain libraries of materials?

Just curious. I think it would be a great idea to include this capability. Saves some guesswork, though I suspect that folks could make superior materials on their own if given enough time (most of these don't seem to include grime or anything like that... probably owing to their intended use in displaying shiny new things). Still, a good base to start from and with superlightwave links one might enhance a few of these (depends on how that works too...)

Gotta disagree. That should be pushed back until at the very least TS 8. Tons of other bits require attention first.

I suppose it depends on how much work is involved in adding this function. If it's a big job, then I agree there is more important stuff, but if it's a fairly simple thing to add then I say why wait?

Everyone has their own priorities... kinda hard to say one thing is more or less important than another unless you know how hard it is to do and what community needs are present.

I think the LWA materials would be nice in the same way that we have a library of lighting based on actual specs, but then how often is that feature used? It would take some effort but I would think someone could achieve a similar shader effect that would be close to the LWA materials using the built-in capabilities.

Interested? Yes!

Top priority for me? Not really but I can understand if it's important to others. TS8 might be pretty far off though... maybe 7.5 or so if there is such a thing. I suspect TS7 will have a pretty long life given the new architecture and the possibilities for development along the way.

i was thinking it may don´t need much time to make it possible for TS but if it need many houres to do than we can forget it and set the priority to other applications or tools for TS.

Isn´t much important to me, just an idea and nice to have function to download the materials and use them in our 3D app.
