Try deleting the default.cfx file then restarting. Once I have a setup that is working I make a copy of the default.cfx and if some crashes start occurring I revert to my saved version. (It might mean I have to reload some newer library addresses but that's about it because I stick with the standard layouts.)

BTW this might have been better asked in the tech forum - trueplay is a different program.

This can also happen if you update your video drivers and the new video driver isn't compatible with TrueSpace.

Another thing to try is to hold CTRL down while clicking on the TrueSpace icon and you will get a dialog box that will give you options for loading TS. The "use default configuration" checkbox will reset TS to defaults.

ive had this happen to me, i found out when i installed my wacom tablet, everytime i wanted to open truespace, it was like, NO!!!! ! ! !!! .

so what i did to solve the problem was to go back to a restore point before i installed my tablet, and that fixed the problem.

later on i installed my tablet again, now this time truespace opens with no problems... i dont know why,..
but im not complaining,[url]
