Hi

I'm using TS to model a cubic room game, its a small 10 node demo using Awakening, but i dare say it could be done in python

Theres a lot bigger game planned called Hawk Manor, this one is just me learning Awakening and scripting in LUA :)

Interesting! I am looking forward to seeing more (or even trying it out!)

Don't forget you can even develop something on this scale easily inside tS itself, using scripting and nodes. No need for an external package at all then ;)

Check out the Elements of Game Design course to see that sort of set up. Not saying you should quit using Awakening, just want people to know the option is there - being able to develop in one app, test in real-time without compiling, and have such a good real-time engine as tS has, is quite a benefit in terms of saving time.

HTH!

I must admit life would be easier in one app! Awakening isn't a modeler program, and life can get frustrating, the game uses DDS files and for what should be a small demo the file sizes are a bit extreme.

Because i couldn't figure out away to do cubic images in TS its rendered in Bryce, but now I'm struggling with the final puzzle as the TS and Bryce versions look totally different, i need animate the model and Bryce moves the pivot points..

but 3 weeks ago Awakening didn't have an adventure game system :D and it does now

It actually looks better realtime 3D so i'll def look into TS for my next venture :)

thanks Tom

The first version is up and running, you can download it here (http://www.nigecstudios.co.uk/awakening/skull.zip)

You can also play online, its 39 meg so it does take a few mins to load and requires an activeX player installed

Online version (http://www.nigecstudios.co.uk/awakening/skull.htm)

i made a big goof on the puzzle and all the hing points where wrong so the puzzle isn't how i intended hence why the game is short as i'm doing a better version, theres a few things that need fixing but this is the first cubic 3d game playable online :)

I just wish i could find away to render 6 cubic images in TS
